The newest member of the Heart of Mesa Staff, Mike Bard serves as our Minister of Students. Mike was born in Missouri and has lived all over the United States. His father is a Southern Baptist Preacher and Mike moved to Arizona to serve at Heart of Mesa from Atlanta, GA. He is dedicated to the spiritual growth and development of our students and is focused on connecting students to God through relevant environments and accountability. Small groups is the core of the student ministry. Through the small group all programs, activities, and plans are channeled. Birthday: March 12th Education: Bachelors of Science in Church Recreation. Masters of Arts in Christian Education. Ministry Philosophy: My ministry philosophy is three simple words. Invite, Include, and Invest. Favorite Verse: Philippians 1:21. “For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.” What I Love About The Heart of Mesa: “I’m amazed at how there are so many people who volunteer and work so hard!” What would you say to somebody interested in our church: “Come on in, try us out, and lets see what God has in store for us.” |
